Take an end of the day respite on Thursday June 17 from 5-6 pm. Enjoy a bit to eat and a drink, while listening to Dr. Douglas A. Finch present the most up-to-date information on travel medicine. The lecture will cover the need for pre-travel health evaluations, common vaccinations recommended for foreign travel and general health precautions you can take when traveling, particularly abroad.
Dr. Finch has been practicing medicine since 1994. He trained in Internal Medicine at the Jacobi Hospital program of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He successfully completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. Dr. Finch graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine American Program at Tel Aviv University and has a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Cornell University.
In 2009, Dr. Finch opened a private practice specializing in Infectious diseases and Internal Medicine. He sees patients at Sharon Hospital and at the area nursing homes.
